Major scale and the triads

The notes in C major scale are C D E F G A B C

let us see what kind of chords we can build just in triads format for each note in the scale…the default triads…

C Major chord – C E G

D minor chord – D F A

E minor chord – E G B

F Major chord – F A C

G Major chord – G B D

A minor chord – A C E

B dim chord – B D F

so the pattern goes like Major, minor, minor, Major, Major, minor and diminished. And this sequence is common for any major scale..

There are many more chords which we can make from each note as we expand with other options available though.
